Guillaume Dousse Director, Art Director

For over a decade, Guillaume Dousse has left his distinctive mark as a French director, art director and studio creative director, shaping the landscape of animated series, features, and branded content.

Coming soon to Netflix is Dousse’s long form directorial debut for Ubisoft’s SPLINTER CELL, the highly anticipated 8x22min action-thriller series created by Derek Kolstad (John Wick, Nobody) based on the popular game franchise. Initially brought on as production designer, Dousse was soon handed the reins to direct the entire season, giving him the opportunity to fully realize his creative vision.

Dousse’s mise-en-scène blurs the line between animation and live-action filmmaking, delivering stories in their most cinematic form. His aesthete style is rooted in poetic realism, one of contrasts and raw emotions, of elegance and thrilling spectacle.

Over the course of his career, Dousse has played pivotal roles in industry-defining projects, including the three-time Academy Award-nominated feature documentary FLEE, the TRAVEL OREGON – ONLY SLIGHTLY EXAGGERATED campaigns, LOVE, DEATH + ROBOTS short film ALTERNATE HISTORIES, and a HUNTERS short story, produced by Jordan Peele’s MonkeyPaw Productions for Amazon Prime. His collaborations also include major names like Riot Games, LEGO, and Supercell.

He currently lives in France and is completing production on Splinter Cell. Having recently exited Sun Creature, the studio he co-founded 10 years ago, Dousse is now focusing on bold new creative ventures.
